This tour offers the possibility to walk in Venice through ‘ campi’ (fields) little squares and enjoy to discover history and art of the city in a different way. It is possible to start from Campo San Rocco one of the most beautiful one for its church and its Scuola of San Rocco all painted by Tintoretto. Around the campo another important building is the Frari Church with Titian altarpieces and precious funeral monuments inside. Then shortly to Campo San Polo where we visit the San Polo Church with very important altarpieces and around the campo there are nice palaces to admire. We reach then Ponte Rialto over the main waterway Canal Grande and through Campo del Million we reach the church dei Miracoli, a wonderful pre-renaissance building. When we get in Campo di San Giovanni e Paolo , we will enjoy a nice view of the Lagoon and the Scuola of San Marco. Finally we get to Campo Santa Maria Formosa and we are not far from San Marco Square, the only real square of Venice.
